The Eric Coatalem Gallery founded in 1986, is specialized in paintings, drawings and sculptures of french masters from the 17th to the 20th century.

In 1994, the gallery organized the first exhibition on Lubin Baugin (1610-1663), in 1998 on the George-Augustus Wallis landscapes (1761-1847) and in 2001, it presented the french painter Francois Perrier (1594-1649). Lastly, a french old masters paintings from the 17th century took place in 2005-2006 in New York and Paris with the artists Baugin, Le Brun, Le Nain, Le Sueur, Perrier, Vouet...

Since 1994, the gallery is exhibiting at the Biennale des Antiquaires and the Salon du Dessin in Paris, the Tefaf in Maastricht and the International Fine Art Fair in New York.
